"Uniting our school community."

The Student Council is responsible for planning school-related events and activities such as:

• contributing to holiday events
  

• keep festiveness and community within school

• keep the school functioning for students

• Battle of the Sexes, Pep Rallies, Talent Show, etc.

• sales like Candy-grams and Christmas Cards, charity and food bank runs

• helping teachers with events such as dance workshops and shows

BATTLE OF THE SEXES!

It's a classic gender war of boys versus girls! Come to the gym during lunch time from May 18th to May 20th to compete in our Battle of the Sexes competitions! We will be having duct tape, watermelon, pie and dancing competitions, so get ready for it.

THE 2010 - 2011 STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTIONS!

Are you interested in doing any of the things mentioned above? Join the Student Council to help not only contribute to Bishop McNally High School, but to get a sense of responsibility and accomplishment from helping to bring the school community together closer. It's not always easy, but it is fun and rewarding.

WHY JOIN STUDENT COUNCIL?

• It is a leadership program

• It looks good on a resume

• It counts towards volunteering and experience

• You can bring the school community closer
  

• It gives you a sense of accomplishment and responsibility

All elections and campaigning will finish at the end of May. Speeches will be given by the electorial candidates on June 3rd, and elections will occur on June 8th.
