If you want to learn to play the guitar or if you would like to learn some techniques to improve your playing, join the Virtual Guitar Club. Sign up outside of room 1222 and then login to access the lessons on d2l. The club is free and is open 24/7.

 

Rockband Club is now signing up teams of 4 players to play at lunch. All you Canadian Idol wannabes are needed as vocalists for bands that do not have a singer.

Let’s see what kind of “Rockband” talent Bishop McNally has.

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball Team who had a strong overall performance at the Pride Volleyball Tournament held at Notre Dame High School.  The ladies finished 4th losing to St. Mary’s in the semi-final.   Danielle McMaster was awarded MVP honors for the team.  The ladies next home game is this Thursday against St. Martin de Porres.

Lost & Found:A pencil case, complete with pencils, etc., was left in St. John Study Centre at the beginning of September.  If it belongs to you, please come to pick it up.

The Yearbook Committee will start Thursday October 9th at 3:30pm in Rm.2017, Please sign up outside. This is a great extracurricular for your CV and only requires 1 meeting a week after school for less than an hour. Please see Miss Gillier if you are interested in being a member  but can’t attend Thursdays meeting.

 

Bishop McNally’s cross-country runners have done exceptionally well this year. Both Santo Dak and James Kuol have been invited to the Calgary Zone Qualifying Race which will be held at Canmore Park.

 

We cordially invite all students and staff to come support our students at the race which begins at 4:30 pm, Wednesday, October 8th. (Canmore Park)
