Bishop McNally Active Living Program Course Outline
The Bishop McNally Active Living Program provides learning experiences that will enable students to make positive choices in regards to living active and healthy lives. The focus of the program and of every unit is to educate students in the skills they require to participate in physical activity for a life time. Students will be working toward mastering outcomes within various activities including demonstrating:

The ability to plan fitness activities and a demonstration of their ability to live fit active lives.

The skills involved in participating in lifetime physical activities

The basic motor competencies required to participate in a wide variety of physical activities.

Knowledge of safe practices, rules, strategies, basic principles of movement and psychological concepts related to performance enhancement.

Maintaining positive class conduct, displaying courtesy towards fellow classmates and teacher.

Demonstrates control when participating in physical activity.

The ability to provide leadership and organization within each physical activity conducted in class.
