Learning Center

The Learning Center offers resources for students to gain valuable knowledge and develop strategies and skills to use in school and life. It provides students with tools and strategies to succeed in school. It is a multi-faceted forum where students with learning needs can receive one on one instruction and support; receive strategies to succeed in subject matte, clarification of subject matter assignments and/or work independently to achieve their goals.

Purpose of the Center

Teach Learning Strategies classes

Track ‘at risk’ students

Coordinate IPP, ISP and Sort’s

Provide support for students who are having academic and/or truancy issues

Provide referrals to counselors and outside agencies

Provide teachers with a resource area.
